E. Anne Macgregor
Founder & Vocational Rehabilitation Practitioner

I created bravework in late 2017 to service individuals, employers and insurance agencies by offering disability and vocational rehabilitation solutions with a focus on occupational wellness and thriving.

I've been providing Manitobans with vocational rehabilitation services to assist with their return to work after job loss, injury or illness since 2007. My experience has been a combination of public and private practice.

I am skilled in working with clients with functional, psychological, cognitive and emotional and health impairments.  We work together to overcome barriers to accessing, maintaining or returning to employment, to a position in the community and/or to the quality of life.  I am a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional #1169 (College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals), Registered Rehabilitation Professional (Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada), Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE), hold a Bachelors of Human Ecology with a minor in Commerce, Certifications in Career & Employment Coaching, Rehabilitation Case Management, Motivational Interviewing, ASIST and others.  In 2022, I was elected as the President of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Manitoba.

The key to my passion for the field has been exploring and discovering new ways of working with clients.
I completed a certification in Applied Positive Psychology to access additional tools and interventions for working with clients to break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life.  Special PERMA-V (Positivity, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Achievement, Vitality) interests include applications of neuroplasticity, post-traumatic growth, growth mindset and character strengths.  I am also certified as a Bounce Back Better (B³)®  trainer, offering individualized and group programs for building mental, physical, emotional and social resilience.

The pursuit of vitality has been one of my lifelong passions; I've held certifications in Group Fitness and Resistance Training from the Manitoba Fitness Council since 2002.   In addition, I am a committed volunteer in my community. As a cancer survivor, I am honoured to be a Speaker for the Terry Fox Run.
